The driver of the truck fled the scene by driving north on Garfield and then east on LCR 30 before witnesses lost sight of him.

Witnesses described the truck as a white 1990’s Chevy and the driver as a Hispanic male. Attached are two photographs of the actual truck involved. The first shows the vehicle at 37th Street and Garfield moments before the crash. The second is of the vehicle changing lanes in the intersection of 57th and Garfield and making contact with another vehicle.

Please call Officer Annette Bowen if you have information related to the driver or white truck in this incident. She may be reached by selecting x1045 after dialing 970-962-2502
