The year was 1982. Bob Brown started his career as a Fort Collins police officer after a year and a half as a reserve officer. After graduating from Academy, Bob hit the streets as a patrol cop. He also worked as a DUI Officer, FTO Officer, and Property Detective. He served as a Financial Crimes Detective from 1992 to 2003, then from 2008 until his retirement from FCPS last month. Bob is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Certified Economic Crime Forensic Examiner, and he’s moving on to serve the state as an investigator for the Colorado Attorney General’s Office.
