Things could get pretty ugly around here. Plan ahead today so you can stay off the roads tomorrow.

Weld County and the northeast plains in Colorado are expecting a strong winter storm Wednesday afternoon through Thursday this week. The forecast calls for rain on Wednesday morning, turning to blizzard condition in the afternoon and continuing through early Thursday morning. A combination of heavy snow and very windy conditions are expected. Travel will be hazardous due to blowing snow – whiteout conditions are likely. Damage to power lines is possible, and high impact to ranchers and cattle is predicted. Stay off the roads if possible and use extra caution if you must travel.
