After meeting with the Northern Valley Athletic Association (NVAA) board members yesterday, Evans Recreation has made the difficult decision not to participate in the 3rd-6th grade basketball league this season with NVAA. Due to current State guidelines and a lack of gym availability, it was decided that we cannot safely offer the program in the historical sense that it’s been offered. Staff is waiting for approval to proceed with an in-house program once State guidelines allow. As soon as we are able to, notification will go out to all past participants and will be posted to social media and our website. We apologize for the inconvenience but remain committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for children to participate in.

Our D6 School Board Members are incredible local citizens who volunteer hundreds of hours and an immeasurable amount of energy to assure that our schools are providing the best education possible for the children of our Greeley-Evans community. We are so grateful for their extraordinary service to our students, families, and staff!
