Both Broomfield and Boulder counties are moving to Level Orange today, following last week’s announcement from Colorado Governor Jared Polis.

The City and County of Broomfield is now in “Level Orange: High Risk” as directed by Gov. Polis, and due to the community’s continued diligence to slow the spread of COVID-19.

View changes for “Level Orange: High Risk,” and more COVID-19 updates at Broomfield.org/COVID.

Stop the spread & stay out of Red by continuing to follow the 4 Ws: wear a mask, wash your hands, watch your distance, and wait on gatherings.

Great news! BVSD SPED Para at Centaurus High School, DeJonee Iarussi, is the recipient of a $2500 Resiliency Grant from Western Governors University. DeJonee has been taking classes there to further her education and was surprised by Principal Dan Ryan and her colleagues with this fantastic news.

WGU has been working with BVSD on the Work Study Program and other initiatives to support teacher development within the district. They want to help people to continue to pursue their dreams and reach their educational goals. The WGU Resiliency Grant assists students with the unforeseen financial struggles presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. This grant offers new students up to $2,500 that can be used for tuition, fees, and instructional materials to allow them to continue their course of study.

Congratulations DeJonee (top left of the picture below)!! #BVSDProud
