New Louisville small business grant program closes on Friday
Many Louisville small businesses are eligible to apply for $5000 grants as part of the new City of Louisville Small Business Preservation GrantProgram. The program, which was approved by Louisville City Council on January 5, makes available $500,000 of funds. It focuses on assistance to types of businesses that have been most heavily impacted by capacity restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Business types eligible for the new grant funding include restaurants, bars, gyms, fitness users, and limited health care providers (acupuncture, athletic training, audiology, chiropractic, massage therapy, naturopathic, and physical therapy). Applications close at 5:00 PM on Friday, January 15.
Businesses approved for grants will be notified shortly after the application window closes and recipients will be announced on the City website.
Visit www.LouisvilleCO.gov/PreservationGrant for grant eligibility requirements and the application form.
