After exactly 23 years (to the day!) of outstanding service to Fort Collins, Lt. Kent Robinson retired last week. Kent began his policing career in 1992 in Colorado Springs. In 1998, he came to FCPS and, in his
words, “quickly learned why Fort Collins Police was named police services and not department. The FCPS employees truly provide service to our community.”During his decades with our agency, Kent served in a variety of different assignments and became a familiar face to many in our community. He supported his teammates as a leader, trainer, mentor, and friend. He also actively encouraged colleagues to focus on their health and wellbeing so they could be at their best for the people we serve.
We will miss him and wish his family the very best in their next chapter!
