We’re looking for adult commissioners!
What we are looking for:
Adults who are passionate about making change in our community that are committed to building strong youth adult partnerships
Time commitment:
We meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month. Meetings start at 5:30. During non COVID times, dinner starts at 5pm, and everyone is highly encouraged to attend. In addition, there are sometimes additional meetings for outings for project planning.
Applicants must reside within the city limits of Brighton! If you know anyone who might be interested share it with them!

At 27J we pride ourselves on building and fostering strong community partnerships that serve to benefit students, teachers, and the entire 27J community.
Today we are proud to announce that the Brighton
Japanese American Association (BJAA) is offering an opportunity for graduating seniors to apply for the $5,000 Lucile Knaus Memorial and Brighton Japanese American Award (Scholarship). Eligibility Requirements:
Applicant must reside within 27J Schools.
Applicant must have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
Applicant must be accepted at a college, university, technical or vocational school.
Applications are due no later than April 30, 2021.
The Brighton Japanese American Association (BJAA) works to foster better relationship between Americans of Japanese ancestry and other Americans in this community, and to promote and sponsor projects to further good citizenship.
