2nd Semester Learning Preference & FREE COVID-19 Testing! 1

2020-12-07 04:47:12

Weld RE-5J is considering increasing in-person instruction starting in early 2021.

Pending approval, the schedule would increase the amount of time students are in-person and may be as follows:
Elementary – Full-day, in-person, Monday-Thursday with Fridays virtual learning
Middle – Full-day, in-person, Monday-Thursday with Fridays virtual learning
High – Full-day, in-person, Monday-Thursday with Fridays virtual learning (with grade levels brought in each week=staggered start)

A full, online option will remain available as offered in the first semester.

The Weld RE-5J District needs to know if you prefer to CHANGE the method of instruction your child(ren) were receiving prior to the District moving to full remote learning (in-person or fully online)

If you prefer a change, please complete this form by the end of day on Friday, December 11, 2020. This will allow us to effectively plan for student and teacher classes and schedules based on potential movement from in-person and online learning methods. It will be very difficult to make changes in January 2021 due to staffing so please submit this form by the end of day on Friday, December 11, 2020.

Please fill out the following FORM before the end of day on Friday, December 11th, 2020!

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO STAY IN FULLY ONLINE SCHOOL, YOU DO NOT NEED TO FILL OUT THIS FORM. THIS FORM IS FOR CHANGES ONLY (Parents not wanting their children online any longer and would like to go to in-person; Parents not wanting the extended in-person school and would like to go to fully remote).

PLEASE EMAIL listen@weldre5j.org with any questions or comments.

Both eligible Larimer County and Johnstown-Weld County businesses have the opportunity to apply for COVID-19 relief (specifically movie theaters, breweries/wineries, restaurants and bars) through the SB20B-001 relief funding.

All eligible businesses in Larimer County have an opportunity to apply, however, the Town of Johnstown applied for funds from the State (and was approved) on the behalf of Johnstown-Weld County businesses when the county opted not to apply. For this reason, only those Johnstown based Weld County businesses are eligible for the grant funding being offered by the Town.

*This is NOT the same grant as the Jtown Small Business Micro Grant*
