Our local air quality can change due to wind patterns, wildfires, ground pollution and more. Today, our air quality has improved due to the snow, but yesterday, it was clear to most folks in and around Fort Collins that we were experiencing poor air quality due to nearby wildfires. Below, you can see how the conditions changed throughout the day thanks to photos from our air quality monitoring station at New Belgium Brewery, taken hourly from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. To learn more about our local air quality and to make sure conditions are safe before you spend extended time outdoors, visit fcgov.com/AirQuality.
