Our local air quality can change due to wind patterns, wildfires, ground pollution and more. Today, our air quality has improved due to the snow, but yesterday, it was clear to most folks in and around Fort Collins that we were experiencing poor air quality due to nearby wildfires. Larimer County’s shift from Safer at Home Level 2 (Yellow) to Level 4 (Red), which is effective today (Tuesday, Nov. 24) at 5:00 p.m., does impact some City facilities and operations. Those changes, beginning this Wednesday, are outlined below and are subject to change.
