We know that wearing costumes, decorating pumpkins, and receiving special treats is an important part of celebrating Halloween. Due to COVID-19, celebrations for Halloween this year are going to be different. We encourage everyone to celebrate safely and avoid large gatherings, social distance with other people at least six feet apart, wear face masks, and wash your hands often.

Some fun ideas for celebrating this year safely are hosting virtual costume parties, spooky movie nights and making some fun Halloween themed treats to eat. Check out some other fun ideas here: https://bit.ly/2Tx9Ifn.

Have a safe and happy Halloween this Saturday!

Congratulations to Innovations and Options senior Joseph Armijo III for receiving the student of the month award and to Eagle Ridge Academy teacher Stephanie Hose for receiving the teacher of the month award for the Rotary Club of Brighton (November).

Rotarians understand the importance of our community’s youth. Guided by this understanding the membership established a student and teacher recognition program that honors achievement, leadership and helps to support high school students in their transition to higher education.
