At the February Board of Directors meeting, Darin Henry was sworn in as our new Shift Captain. Captain Henry has been with the District since 2012. He is a member of our dive, swiftwater, and technical rescue teams. Captain Henry also serves as a part-time firefighter with the Windsor-Severance Fire District, and instructs at Aims Community College in the EMS program. Because of a positive Covid case at the middle school, all 8th grade students will be studying remotely through December 16 with a return to the school on December 17. All students who were directly exposed to the COVID case and are required to quarantine have already been contacted.
It is required that all students sign in to each of their classes using their school computer. We will be taking attendance in each class and contacting parents if students are not present.
