On Friday, 11/6, Boulder County will move to the more restrictive Safer at Home Level Orange. The move is due to the rapid increase in new COVID-19 cases and the percentage of positivity among COVID-19 tests in Boulder County. The county will remain at this level until there is improvement (or worsening) of COVID-19 case activity in the county.

In response to Weld County Commissioners' statement saying they will not enforce the newest Colorado COVID-19 restrictions, Longmont Mayor Brian Bagley had proposed a local ordinance that would make it unlawful for any hospital (or healthcare provider) to provide medical services to any resident of a county or municipality whose elected officials have refused to comply with the governor’s emergency orders.
