We have two engines and a water tender heading out on a 72-hour deployment to assist with the Cameron Peak Fire along the Hwy 34 corridor tonight. They are joining thousands of firefighters from across the nation in battling what is on track to become the largest wildland fire in Colorado history. Flames from the fire became visible in Windsor today. Smoke and ash will continue to impact the Poudre Valley.
