Evening update: Today's aerial operations in the areas of Sleeping Elephant and Long Draw were a success. Crews will continue to mop-up and monitor these areas overnight. Fire behavior continues to be active within the perimeter of the fire. These photos show the active fire along the Highway 14 corridor this afternoon. Fire weather continues to be a concern over the next several days. Overnight humidity is forecasted to remain low once again, allowing fire activity likely to continue overnight when it typically dies down. Conditions will remain dry with low humidity over the next 24-hours, prompting a Red Flag Warning for the area over the fire tomorrow. The fire is currently 128,149 acres, 42% contained. #cameronpeakfire
