On the November 2020 election ballot, there are three ballot issues (one for those living within Loveland city limits, and two for those living outside of city limits) that will impact the services provided by the Loveland Fire Rescue Authority. Facebook Global Safety Policy teams and IBPA would like to invite you to the upcoming webinar, Bullying Prevention for Parents, led by Kerry Gallagher, Director of K-12 Education at Connect Safely, that we are hosting virtually on October 7th, from 3pm – 4.30pm ET.

This webinar for parents will define what bullying is and isn’t and help parents understand the nature and impact of bullying on children both in person and online. We will discuss how to help prevent bullying and what to do if your child witnesses, engages in, or experiences bullying whether it is in person, while socializing online, or during virtual instruction.

📢Local businesses may be able to access rent relief funds due to economic challenges due to Covid-19 pandemic – applications due Oct. 6

Loveland businesses can apply for rent relief through a new rent relief fund established by the City of Loveland Economic Development Department to provide pandemic-related rent and mortgage aid. 👏

Businesses must meet eligibility guidelines and provide required documentation such as lease agreements, tax filing information, and be able to demonstrate economic hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Information is also available in Spanish.

Applications are due by Oct. 6 and are available online at:

CLOSING DISTRIBUTION SITES CORRECTION!

Nutrition Services has made some changes to meal distribution as we transition back to in-person learning.
The following distribution sites are open from September 20, 2020-October 2, 2020:
-BERTHOUD HIGH SCHOOL
-BILL REED MIDDLE SCHOOL
-LUCILE ERWIN MIDDLE SCHOOL
-CONRAD BALL MIDDLE SCHOOL

Beginning October 5, 2020, only the following two schools will be open for drive through meal distribution:
-BERTHOUD HIGH SCHOOL
-BILL REED MIDDLE SCHOOL
