If your cart looks like this it's likely that its contents won't be collected.

The City's Solid Waste crews, beginning Monday, Aug. 31, will not collect carts that are overly filled and whose lids won't close.

To ensure your trash and recycling get collected, please make sure that the cart lids completely close.

Another challenging Red Flag day ahead for crews working the Cameron Peak Fire. Engines 433 and 476 are assigned to the fire today and we continue to provide fire protection for the helibase at Christman Field in Fort Collins with an aircraft rescue trained firefighter and an airport fire engine from the Northern Colorado Regional Airport. All LFRA Stations continue to be staffed while we provide support to Larimer County and the Cameron Peak Fire. #cameronpeakfire #larimercounty #lovelandcolorado

Several LFRA companies, Berthoud Battalion 61 and Thompson Valley EMS have responded to a residential structure fire on SW 6th Street in Loveland early this morning. The fire was brought under control within 10 minutes. The occupants made it out of the home safely, activated smoke detectors alerted them of the fire. Crews will be on scene a for a couple hours completing overhaul and investigating the fire cause. #smokedetectorssavelives #lovelandcolorado #lovelandfirerescueauthority @berthoudfire @thompson_valley_ems_
