Virtual Bilingual College and Resource Fair

Join the Virtual Bilingual College and Resource Fair on September 12, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Learn about higher education options, how to finance the costs of higher education and local scholarship opportunities. There will also be information about English classes and GED options and resources for students that are undocumented or have DACA. Representatives from Aims Community College, Centennial BOCES, Front Range Community College, GEAR Up, Greeley-Evans School District 6, TRIO, and The University of New Mexico will be available to answer your questions.
This event is FREE for students of all ages and their parents and guardians. Please register for this event prior to the event date, and join at least 10 minutes before the event start time. The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. sharp.

*** Trench Collapse***
On Thursday, January 14th at 12:05 pm, Greeley Police officers and the Fire Department were dispatched to an injured worker at the Poudre Ponds construction site, in approximately the 1100 block of North 35th Avenue. A preliminary investigation revealed that a worker was in a trench when the dirt wall collapsed.
The adult
male was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The identity of the male will be released by the Weld County Coroner.
