On September 11, 2001, our country faced a tragedy unlike any we’d seen before. Thousands of innocent people, including many first responders, lost their lives that day. We have shown again and again that what challenges us can make us stronger. It’s the brave men and women who serve and protect our country, and its ideals, that make America who we are today. Let us honor those incredible men and women who lost their lives to terrorism, and renew our efforts to fight terrorism.
