As students begin to return to campus, we look forward to welcoming you back. In order to remain on campus and have a successful fall semester, faculty, staff, students and visitors all need to do their part to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We have seen universities across the country change plans and shift to fully remote learning because students were not following health and safety guidelines.

Students shared with us that a top priority is having in person and hybrid classes. We all wish we could return to a normal campus experience but the reality is, hosting or attending large social gatherings will jeopardize our ability to maintain an in-person campus environment.

We all have a personal responsibility to be diligent in following public health orders – both on and off campus.

If members of our Buff family do not wear face coverings, plan large in-person gatherings and parties or fail to follow other health and safety expectations, there will be individual consequences, as well as the potential to return fully remote.

We believe in you and know that as Buffs you will meet and exceed these expectations!

This evening before returning to in-person meetings, BVSD Board of Education members had the opportunity to tour the renovated Education Center, which has been closed over the summer for the work. A new addition, which is still under construction, will be completed in October.

The EDC is one of the final projects in BVSD's Building for Student Success bond project, which has built three new schools in the district and brought needed updates and safety upgrades to all of our schools. Learn more at bond.bvsd.org
