The Weld County 4-H program is offering a free Virtual Energy Camp for youth age... 1

The Weld County 4-H program is offering a free Virtual Energy Camp for youth aged 8-11. This camp will teach kids about the following topics: electricity, magnetism, solar energy, kinetic and potential energy, and sound energy. Hands on demonstrations by Patrick Pulis, Weld County 4-H Programs Associate, will teach kids how to assemble an energy drag racer, heat pizza in a solar oven, pick up paperclips with an electromagnet and more. The virtual camp consists of five lessons on the first Wednesdays of the month starting September 2 through January 6, 2021, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. The camp is limited to the first thirty youth.
