The two council members will host citizens either in person or by remote participation from 10-11:30 a.m. Sept. 26 at 200 E. Seventh St., Suite 200 in downtown Loveland. As many as 12 participants may attend in person, following guidelines contained in public health orders requiring masks and physical distancing. Others are encouraged to attend remotely by phone or Zoom conferencing.
Residents wishing to attend in person must call Councilor Overcash at (267) 664-4957 to reserve one of the available spots. Others can participate remotely by:
• Downloading the Zoom app and joining meeting ID No. 726 123 817, and entering the password 056441.
• Phoning (669) 900-6833 and entering meeting No. 726 123 817.
City Council on July 21 referred a measure to the Nov. 3, 2020, general election ballot calling for a 1 % increase in the City sales tax that, if passed, would be the first since 1984. Proceeds would be directed to public safety, infrastructure projects and City government operations and maintenance. Groceries would be exempt from the increase.
