Each day, you see an update on the percentage of containment of the fire but what exactly does that mean? This refers to the percentage of the fire that has an established 'fire line' around it, which the fire should not be able to cross. UPDATE: Good news – officers were able to locate Tom and he is SAFE! Thanks to all who spread the word and worked to help bring him home safely.

MISSING AT-RISK ADULT: Tom W, 69, left his home on foot in the 3600 block of Richmond Drive in the middle of the night. Tom has cognitive/memory issues & health issues, and his family is concerned about his welfare.

Tom just moved to Fort Collins from Longmont and is originally from Texas, and he may be trying to travel to one of those areas. He was last seen wearing an orange polo shift and jeans (see picture). He is a white male, gray hair, 6' tall, approximately 180 lbs.

Larimer County Search and Rescue are assisting. Please call police if you have any information about Tom’s whereabouts.
