City Council to convene meeting this evening
Loveland City Council will hold a City Council meeting at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2020. Public attendance is not allowed, but remote participation can be conducted by email and phone.

Agenda items include:
• An ordinance approving annexation of a territory to the City of Loveland to be known as the Vantage Addition.
• A resolution approving the Consolidated Service Plan for Airpark North Metropolitan District Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4.
• An ordinance creating and organizing the Special Improvement District No. 2 and construction of improvements therein.
• An ordinance to enact a supplemental budget and appropriation to the City’s 2020 budget for the Customer Information System (CIS) Project extension, and approval for a contract amendment with N. Harris Computer Corporation.

Another challenging Red Flag day ahead for crews working the Cameron Peak Fire. Engines 433 and 476 are assigned to the fire today and we continue to provide fire protection for the helibase at Christman Field in Fort Collins with an aircraft rescue trained firefighter and an airport fire engine from the Northern Colorado Regional Airport. Several LFRA companies, Berthoud Battalion 61 and Thompson Valley EMS have responded to a residential structure fire on SW 6th Street in Loveland early this morning. The fire was brought under control within 10 minutes. The occupants made it out of the home safely, activated smoke detectors alerted them of the fire.
