Did you know that if our Animal Control Officers find your pet and they have a microchip with current information, they will bring them home to you?

Today is Check the Chip Day, which is a great reminder on the importance of up-to-date information on your pet’s microchip registration. You should log into your microchip database annually and update your contact information.

Both of our local Humane Societies use: www.24petwatch.com. You can also contact your local veterinarian or Humane Society about scanning your microchip or implanting a microchip to help facilitate a reunion if your pet wanders away from home.
