Starting Monday, Aug. 17, GET Transit buses will run more frequently for extended hours. However, safety precautions to slow the spread of COVID-19 prevent GET from operating at normal service levels and limit the capacity of buses.

∙ Special Monday through Friday hours of 5:55 a.m. – 7:15 p.m.
∙ Normal Saturday operating hours: 6:50 a.m. – 6:15 p.m.
∙ Normal Sunday operation consisting of only Call-N-Ride services from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
∙ Monday through Saturday, after scheduled buses stop, call and rides services will operate from 6:35 to 9 p.m.

Bus service on Route 1 will increase frequency and buses will come every 30 minutes. For an updated bus schedule, visit www.greeleyevanstransit.com or call 970-350-9290.

For the protection of GET drivers and passengers GET officials will restrict all buses to half capacity. Additionally, all riders must wear a mask and follow all other state executive orders to slow the spread of COVID-19 and ensure they maintain social distancing.

Starting Aug. 24, GET will resume limited operation of the Poudre Express commuter route.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: If you have enrollled your children in any District 6 school – either in-person or online – they must attend and/or log into their classes TODAY, or TOMORROW for high school students, to be considered present and not truant. If you fail to log in or have your students in school, District 6 will report these cases to truancy officers for follow up. If you have made another educational choice for your student, such as homeschooling, and you haven't already reported this to your school or District 6, you must do that today. It is important that all students be engaged in their learning. And, it is important we know all students are safe. Please, for those of you who haven't ensured your children are logging on for online classes or attending school, make sure they start attending immediately. Thank you!

We want to extend a special THANK YOU to Mrs. Warner at Maplewood Elementary School!

We received a message from a grateful parent whose child was able to participate in Mrs. Warner's in-person class via computer: "I want to give a big shout out to Mrs. Warner. Not only was she doing in-person class, but had my daughter on the computer and all the other students. This is a hard year for all of us, but I almost cried watching this. She deserves a shout out for her doing an amazing job. Also, to all the teachers risking their lives to teach our kids. But from the bottom of my heart, thank you, Mrs. Warner."

Thank you, Mrs. Warner, for your dedication and teacher's heart. Thank you to all of our District 6 teachers who have worked tirelessly during this time!

If you want to give a shout out to a teacher, please share in the comments or send us a message.
