Middle School and High School Parents:

Is your student Track A or Track B?

You are able to view your child’s schedule by logging into the Parent Portal using the same process you did for registration. Click on the menu in the top left corner and select “Documents. Then click on “schedule w/Blended Learning Group”. The schedule for both semesters appears. At the bottom of the schedule, you can confirm if your child is enrolled in Track A or Track B.

A help guide is attached. All scheduling questions should be directed to the school’s secretary.

Sometimes, the best way to celebrate your right to read is to show you how someone might be trying to take it from you.

Today's title celebrates both Hispanic Heritage Month and Banned Books Week: Esperanza Rising by Pam Muñoz Ryan. According to the ACLU of Texas, this award-winning novel was challenged in Texas and North Carolina in 2015. One parent felt the novel “promoted illegal immigration and was not age appropriate," while other parents were upset that the book "addressed issues like racism, immigration, and ethnic class struggles."

Please note that Platteville Public/ Nantes Libraries may not have received any challenges regarding this or any title.

I enjoy meeting with our area farmers, they are the best environmentalists and stewards of the land. I recently joined up with U.S. Senator Cory Gardner to discuss some of the difficulties with agriculture sales in the COVID economy.
