This afternoon, Mike Bennett and Darrell Zimbelman with the ESGR (Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve) presented Chief Ticer and Master Sergeant Bob Rabson with the Patriot Award. Chief Ticer and MSgt. Rabson were nominated for the award by Officer Doug Savage, who serves as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army National Guard in additional to his role here at LPD as a School Resource Officer. Officer Savage nominated Chief Ticer and MSgt. Rabson due to their support of Officer Savage so he could leave his position as an officer and fill his role as a soldier at a recovery hospital in Denver, Colorado.
