The city and Xcel Energy have a potential deal. If approved by City Council and Boulder voters, the agreement would halt the city’s long-time effort to create a city-run electric utility.
On July 28, the City of Boulder and Xcel Energy reached a potential settlement agreement that could create new pathways to reach the city’s energy goals.

The city’s parking and access services office will require appointments for in-person transactions for two weeks beginning tomorrow, Sept. 23. Customers are encouraged to use the online parking portal for permit requests and renewals.
