East Eisenhower/Denver Avenue signals to go dark
The always-busy intersection of U.S. 34 and Denver Avenue will require more attention from motorists from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 30, when traffic🚦signals go dark to allow relocation of a signal pole.
The work is part of the U.S. 34 widening project currently underway and requires moving the large pole and horizontal mast arm on the south side of the intersection.
Flaggers will be present to guide traffic through the intersection and around the closure 🚧 of the eastbound right turn lane on U.S. 34 during the seven-hour project.
Drivers are advised to avoid the intersection during the construction or if they must go that way, to use caution and reduce speed.
