Mary Iliff, marketing and social media coordinator, left, places backpacks filled with school supplies in a pile Wednesday, as volunteers stuff the backpacks with supplies in the background in the gym at Conrad Ball Middle School in Loveland. The Thompson Education Foundation’s Help Kids Succeed Supply Drive program provides the backpacks to students in the district whose families are in need. This year organizers added water bottles because students cannot drink from fountains at school as a precaution against COVID-19. They also added a take home bag of supplies in case kids end up learning from home. Once the backpacks are delivered to the schools, they will sit for one week before they can be given to students, for public health reasons. The earliest that families will be able to access the bags of supplies is Aug. 3, organizers said. Parents should check with their child’s school for a pickup date. Maintaining physical distance helps reduce spread of virus!

Another tool in our fight against the corona virus is strictly maintaining 🙋‍♀️ 6 feet of physical distance 🙍🏽 when around other people. This is especially important when in enclosed spaces.

Other important ways to reduce the spread include:

😷 Wearing a mask whenever you're out of the house
🤲 Washing hands frequently
🤒 Staying home if you feel sick

Let's work together to flatten the curve and reduce viral spread so we can keep our businesses open 👍 and more quickly return to a more normal way of life! 👏
