This morning, we welcomed three recruits to the Front Range Fire Consortium Academy. At the beginning of each academy, PFA holds an internal organizational welcome (a meet and greet) to introduce recruits to the organization. While this is usually held in-person at Station 1, COVID-19 measures presented the opportunity to find a creative way to spend the morning together. Recruits were introduced via video stream and one participated from a separate location. They pulled their masks down momentarily for a quick photo. We may be apart, but we are still able to celebrate together. As always, the class is made up of people from diverse backgrounds and interests. This class includes a Fort Collins native and Navy veteran, a career firefighter with over a decade of experience, and a Crossfit coach passionate about helping people live healthy lives. We can’t wait to see all you bring to the PFA family. Welcome Class 2020-2!
