Effective Wednesday, Aug. 5, because of a change in the law this year, the Adams County Treasurer may accept an estimated prepayment of property taxes due for the current tax year before the due dates in 2021. The treasurer has broad authority to establish the conditions and terms under which estimated prepayments will be accepted.
Payments may be made in the taxpayer’s estimate of a full payment or in partial monthly, weekly, or bi-weekly payments, and will be accepted via MAIL as a check or money order. All payments received in this manner will be posted as prepayments and will be applied to the taxpayer’s account BEFORE we print the tax bills in January of 2021.
Please make the payment payable to the Adams County Treasurer's Office, with PREPAYMENT in the memo line, and send to 4430 S. Adams County Pkwy., Suite C2436, Brighton, CO 80601. For more information, please email email@example.com, or visit adcotax.com, or as a last resort (due to COVID-19 and remote working), call 720.523.6160.
