One Arrested After Traffic Stop in Weld County
On Friday, February 1, 2019 at approximately 1041 hours, a deputy with the Weld County Sheriff’s Office performed a traffic stop on a vehicle speeding near the intersection of WCR 54 and WCR 43.
During the traffic stop, the deputy found the driver to be driving with no insurance and driving while his license was denied.
During the search of the vehicle, the deputy found 13.4 grams of methamphetamine and 2.4 grams of cocaine.
The driver, 52-year-old Steve Moeller, is being charged with Unlawful Distribution (Methamphetamine), Unlawful Distribution (Cocaine), Speeding, Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, and Driving while Under Restraint (Denied).
All charges are merely accusations until proven guilty in the court of law. No other information will be released at this time.
