Quick update from this morning's Weld County Commissioners meeting regarding the approval of the appointment of Scott Gessler to advise the Clerk and Recorder. Thankfully, there was really no drama. County Attorney Barker explained that in a case like this, he has an inherent conflict of interest, and therefore it's appropriate that the CCR have an independent advisor.
