Weather permitting, a contractor begins work on the Town of Windsor’s 7th Street Improvement Project, Saturday, July 20. A full northbound closure and detour is expected during the day as one crew begins work on the town’s 7th St. Improvement Project and another crew works to repair the road where a water line break that occurred earlier in the week. The town’s contractor for the 7th St. Improvement Project originally intended to start the project Thursday but has pushed the project to Saturday.
Next week, commuters can expect northbound lane shifts on 7th St. between Walnut and Main St. through Friday, July 26. Minor widening and striping improvements are expected to improve northbound traffic flow and project completion is anticipated for later this month.
