Some great events for us to support: From Greg Rabenhorst, RE3J Superintendent of Schools
Education Foundation Fundraiser at Ben’s Pizza
Please support the Foundation by participating in this fundraiser on April 10. Ben’s will donate 20% of profits, and Cureton Midstream has committed to matching the donation up to $1000! Thank you to both Ben’s Pizza and Cureton for their amazing support of our students! See the flyer for details here.
Pledge to Support Reading!
For the first time in many years, the school district is offering a summer reading program for elementary age students. The program will take place for 9 days in July, and our goal is to give age appropriate books to students, maybe up to a book a day for every child! If you are interested in pledging an amount to this project, please email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) directly by May 15. Each donated book will include recognition of the specific business donor on the inside cover. We are not asking for funds at this time as we do not know how many students will be participating in the program yet.
Participate in the District Wellness Fair
Any business that provides products or services associated with health or wellness are welcome to join us by having a table/booth at the the staff wellness fair. The event will take place on April 29 from 2:30-4 pm at Weld Central Middle School. This would be a great opportunity to visit with district staff and showcase your product or service. Please contact Jenny Wakeman (email@example.com) by April 12 if you are interested.
