Blizzard conditions are expected to develop Wednesday afternoon with heavy snow and strong winds. Travel could be very difficult. Please be prepared and stay off the roads if possible.


Current Winter Highlights: A significant winter storm will begin to affect northern and eastern Colorado tonight through Thursday morning. A Blizzard Warning is in effect for a portion of the northeast Plains with a Winter Storm Watch for the northern and central mountains along with Front Range Foothills and I-25 Urban Corridor. The main impacts across the northeast plains will be the combination of heavy snow and strong winds to 75 mph causing extensive blowing and drifting snow. Along the Front Range, expect snow accumulations of 3 to 8 inches with winds to 45 mph at times.
