WELD COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT OFFERS FREE HEALTH SCREENING
The Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment is offering a FREE health screening on Tuesday, July 17th from 8:00a.m. until 10:30a.m. This screening is to heighten the awareness of preventable health problems and encourages early detection and treatment of disease. The screening is intended for adults with limited access to preventive health care. Men and women are encouraged to participate and Spanish translation will be available.
The screening will be located at Our Lady of Peace Religious School, 1311 3rd St., Greeley. It will include: body mass index (BMI), blood sugar, cholesterol, triglycerides, and blood pressure. No appointments are necessary. Participants are encouraged to fast for 8 hours -which means no food or drinks other than water. For more information, call 970-400-2325 or visit www.weldhealth.org.
