Wild spring weather…

Active spring-like weather can be expected for the region today through Saturday. A powerful storm system will bring a quick transition from near record warmth and high fire danger today to much colder and windy conditions by Friday. Snow will move into the mountains late this afternoon and evening, and then spread across the plains late tonight and Friday. Mostly light snow showers are expected at this time along the I-25 Corridor, while heavier snow and blizzard conditions are expected across far northeastern Colorado Friday into Friday night. Plan your travel accordingly, and stay tuned to the NWS for the latest forecasts and warnings.
