IS AUDIT RESPONSE REALLY DISAPPOINTING?

Yesterday, the Greeley Tribune printed a Staff Editorial about the BOCC and Clerk and Recorder audits, and, in particular, what they feel is an inadequate response. However, the question is whether there is really a mystery about the response, especially in the case of the CCR. In fact, in a previous article in the Trib, the reporter acknowledged that he was unable to actually obtain information from the Clerk and Recorder. So apparently he just guessed at what might be going on.
However, not all members of the media have the same problem. Here is a reprint from the current issue of Best of Greeley that articulates very clearly the substantial effort being made by the CCR office.
