In recognition of an outstanding career, the Board of Commissioners proudly presented Jo Ann Weber with a Recognition of Services Award at today’s board meeting. Weber is retiring 24 years with the Department of Human Services (DHS).
“The passion you bring to Weld County is amazing,” said Commissioner Mike Freeman, coordinator for DHS. “Thank you for everything you’ve done and enjoy retirement!”
Alongside DHS Director Judy Griego, Weber spoke humbly of her time at DHS where she worked in child support services. She thanked fellow employees for their support and her family for teaching her values that aided her throughout her career. Of her many accomplishments, Weber said her most rewarding have been helping DHS make many positive advancements and the opportunity she’s had to help people.
